Recent Events & News
-Area Wide Sale: The 6th Annual CCBA Area Wide Spring Sale was again, a great success!
-CCBA Sign: The sign committee met & will give update at the May 21st meeting.
-Garden Show: The CCBA Garden Show will be June 13th “on the street” (Bus.141) in Pound. Katie’s Sub Shop will be there again with something very special this year! Vendors, music, food, & fun for the whole family!!!
-CCBA Walk-Run: This year the CCBA Walk-Run will be in August; the specific date & organization will soon be set.
-Pound Medical Clinic: A committee was formed to help bring in doctors to the Pound Medical Clinic. An update will be given at the May 21st meeting. Committee members are: Jeff Hines, Kevin Schutte, Dick Cromell, & Elizabeth Monnette.

Recent Events & News
- CCBA Walk/Run: The "Pound the Pavement" 5K/10K walk/run sponsored by CCBA, was held on August 29th at 8:00am at the Village of Pound Park. We had approximately 50 participants even on a rainy morning. The race started at 8:00am and awards were given at 10:00am. All the proceeds will go to the Community Food Pantry. There are still some t-shirts left if anyone is interested in purchasing one contact Jean Grosse or Peggy Hansen.

Recent Events and News
- Pound Medical Clinic: The Village of Pound is continuing to work on getting a medical provider in the Pound Medical Clinic. Northern Health Care would liek this to be a community effort.
- CCBA 2009-2010 Membership Dues: Please remember to send your membership dues in at your earlist convenience. Your membership represents your affliation and support of your local business community. We truly appreciate your support
- Hwy Signage: This project is still a work in progress. We are trying to get Marinette Cty. to change their ordinance to match the State of Wisconsin for highway signage. The South end site lease is being prepared.

Something New!
NEW FOOD PANTRY IN POUND!
The Christian Life Center at 2023 Cty. Q in Pound has started the Community Ministries Food Pantry for the Coleman/Pound area. You can help by contributing non-perishable foods, toiletries, personal care items, & paper products. You may also give financially to help cover expenses or you can volunteer in various ways such as product pickup & delivery, organizing & storage, office work, client services & community outreach. There will be more information at the March 19th meeting.

Recent Event & News
- CCBA Walk / Run: The "Pound the Pavement" 5K-10K Walk - Run presented a check to the Christian Life Center Food Pantry, which was raised from the event.
Thank you to all participants, spectators, and volunteers that helped make this Walk / Run a success!
- Pound Medical Clinic: Village of Pound is waiting to hear back from Northern Health Care and NorthReach regarding costs for a community effort of obtaining a medical clinic.
- Hwy Signage: This project is still a work in progress. We are working with Marinette County for an ordinance change, and working with the land owners on lease agreements.
- Fundraiser: The annual CCBA Fundrasier is right around the corner. Date is set for February 6th, 2010 at Romy's Holiday Inn at Kelly Lake. More information will be sent in the mail soon. Get ready for a night of bucket raffles, 50/50, cash prizes, food and fun. We are looking for sponcers at a cost of $50.00. If you are interested contact Peggy at (920) 897-3419.
