Community-Wide Rummage Sale
The Cougar Country Business Association held their 3rd annual community wide garage, rummage, sidewalk sale on May 19th and 20th. We had numerous participants and locals and avid rummagers enjoyed the pursuit for bargains and unique treasures. Maps were available at Local businesses.

Scholarship
The 1St Annual Cougar Country Business Association Scholarship was presented on May 22nd at the School District of Coleman Senior Tea. The 2006 recipient is Tess Kerr. This award will provide Tess with $250.00 toward her education expenses. Congratulations Tess!

We greatly appreciate your patience in regards to our Website. Due to maintenance obstacles with our site we have chosen an alternative. We have purchased a redesigned web layout which Trish Schutte and associate are inputting and will regularly update the information content. We feel this direction will improve the promotion of our Business association and our business members.
Planning - FINAL Phase
We began our planning project May 2005 and have accomplished: Phase One – Information Collection & Integration, Phase Two – Facilitation of Community Discussions and Phase Three - Discussion of Studies. Professor Baba and Brian Peot will present Phase Four – Presentation of Findings, providing our association with a general conclusion and recommendations. We encourage all CCBA members, municipality representation and interested community citizens to attend this presentation on Sept. 19th, 2006 at the Coleman School Board room.

Tourism Guide
It is that time of year once again for the Marinette County Tourism Guide publication. If your business would like to place a business card size ad in the 2007 pamphlet, our deadline to respond to Trish Schutte is October 19, 2006. Price per business card ad will be $156.82.
